Message	See if you can claim the extra item on you home owner policy. Just like you would claim your snapon tools, tools box, jack stand and so on. hope this will help you out. Insurance company rarely give anything for mods and upgrade unless you list it or put extra coverage on your auto policy. Because it burned in your garage. Try to see it you can get the money back under personal items under the homeowners policy.
